El arroz frito al curry Massaman es algo que se me ocurrió sobre la marcha. A veces simplemente miro en nuestra despensa lo que tenemos para trabajar. Sólo necesitas un wok grande y los siguientes ingredientes que aparecen en la receta.

Puedes hacerlo en 15 o 20 minutos y utilizar el arroz de bolsa de 90 segundos para microondas incluso para hacerlo más fácil. Puede utilizar una pasta de curry massaman comprada en la tienda o hacerla usted mismo con nuestra receta para mantener un enfoque más fresco y no procesado.
Cómo hacer tu propia pasta de curry massaman
Deberá seguir esta receta si decide hacer su propia pasta de curry. Los aceites serán más frescos y perfumados, pero es bastante más trabajo.
Massaman Curry Fried Rice
Equipment
- Large Wok
Ingredientes
- 2 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 cups Wild Rice Pre-cooked
- 2 tablespoon Massaman Curry Paste
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 cup Light coconut milk
- 2 tbsp garlic chopped
- ½ cup green onion chopped
- 3 Thai peppers chopped
- 1 lb chicken breasts chopped into bite sized pieces
Elaboración paso a paso
- Heat the oil in the wok on medium high heat until it smokes.
- Add the peppers, garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
- Add the massaman curry paste and stir-fry in with the garlic until fragrant.
- Add the chopped chicken breast and stir-fry in until opaque.
- Add the coconut milk and mix in, reducing the sauce until it's mostly evaporated out.
- Add the rice and mix in well.
- When the rice mixture is solidified enough, push it to the side and add the egg whites to the exposed surface of the wok and stir -fry until solid.
- Mix the egg into the mixture and add in the green onions and stir-fry another minute.
- Serve with a garlic-chili paste, lime, cilantro and Thai chilis for color.
