Baked Chicken Wings With Thai Laab Seasoning
Baked chicken wings with Thai laab seasoning are another tool in our arsenal of recipes that get eaten really really fast. When I have a social event to take food to I want to see it devoured completely. I want to feel like I actually contributed. This recipe was gone in minutes and it was one of the situations where you want the last one but don't want to be rude. It's that good.
In case you're not familiar with Thai laab seasoning. Thai laab seasoning is used in a lot of dishes and often found as laab pork or chicken at Thai restaurants. It comes in a handy container that makes it easy to put on anything like grated parmesan cheese. Chicken wings happen to be one of our favorite things to make and they are all white meat which is happily convenient for us. 🙂 The wings are seldom used by chickens because they live on the ground so there is less myoglobin and fat. This is why they are white. Okay, so the skin isn't great for you but we improved the health value a little by baking these guys rather than frying them.
Ingredients:

Okay, I'd love to try this. Where do I get the Thai laab seasoning?
Adam says
Try an Asian market. Depending on the size of city and market you are near they should have it. Let us know what you think. 🙂

Amazon also has it if not.

I had the same question. I tried several Asian grocery shops and no luck. Perhaps there is a recipe to make your own..

Did you try amazon.com? You can get it there for sure. American grocery stores don't have it. You'd have to go to an asian market or I know you can get it on Amazon.com.

Hi, I just came across this recipe today. I love trying new seasonings especially with chicken. So yeah I am curious about this one. But I have a couple of questions. Are you sure its 450° for 50 minutes? The temperature seems a bit high for chicken wings. Thanks for your response

My wife did this recipe. She was going on the side of caution with meats, the photos show what it was like so I think so. If you try it and it doesn't work let us know. I am going through recipes and making tweaks. This one has been one of our more popular ones but it could use refinement. Let me know how it goes and i can always adjust it. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts.

Thanks for replying to my comment. Amazon has a variety of Thai Laab seasonings. Which one is for the chicken wings?
