Papaya Coconut Protein Smoothie
A papaya coconut smoothie is an easy and healthy way to get your protein and carbs and protein. Papayas are available everywhere. They are great for digestion and just happen to taste good too. Papaya is known for it's enzyme papain, which aides in digestion.
I used to always grab the samples at GNC at the mall. They're delicious. You can save money and just use fresh papaya. It's better to know exactly what you are putting in your body anyways. When possible of course.
Choosing the right papaya
Choosing a ripe papaya is like most other fruits. Go for one that is not green but yellow and almost brown. Green papaya is good for papaya salad but for a smoothie we need it to be soft.
Preparing the papaya
First you want to skin the papaya using a paring knife if you have one and cut it in half. Second you want to seed the papaya using a spoon over a trash can.
Next you will want to cut the papaya into small pieces easy to measure and fit in a blender.
Now you are ready to blend your papaya smoothie!

Xander Patton says
Does "coconut water or milk" mean coconut water or coconut milk or does it mean regular milk?
Adam says
