Hace poco necesitábamos una receta para un jarabe de piña, jengibre y cúrcuma más saludable para hacer algunas recetas de bebidas tropicales. Encontramos algunas formas fáciles de hacerlas en línea pero, como siempre, encontramos mejoras que podríamos hacer. Todavía hay mejoras, como es habitual, dada la falta de edulcorante de alimentos integrales.
Martha Stewart tiene una receta para el jarabe de piña y jengibre y nosotros añadimos un poco de cúrcuma y lo sustituimos para conseguir la receta que queríamos. Puedes usar stevia en lugar de azúcar. Esto es lo que hemos conseguido.
Pineapple Ginger Turmeric Syrup
Equipment
- Sauce Pan
- Sharp knife
Ingredientes
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- ¼ cup Ginger Sliced
- 1 ½ cup pineapple Rind and core
- 4 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Stevia
Elaboración paso a paso
- Cut a pineapple into wedges and save the core and skin, this is actually what you need.
- Add the ingredients to a saucepan and boil until you reduce the 4 cups water to 1 cup.
- Strain and chill until you need to use, bearing in mind that it will go bad as it is a whole food.
