Mixed Sea Veggies and Fruit Salad
Sea veggies are some of the most nutrient rich foods you can eat. They have also become more trendy in the last few decades. Recently, we went to a trendy Japanese restaurant and got seaweed as an appetizer and it was delicious and fun for all of us. For the first time ever I actually found a bag of seaweed that looked good enough that I bought it. This super easy mixed veggies and fruit salad will bring something interesting to your table adding entertainment as well as high nutrition density.
The reason I like these so called super foods is that I still have anxiety that I am coming up short on my diet. I was listening to a podcast called Innovation Hub and the dietitian said that we still have diseases caused by vitamin deficiencies in the US. She went on to say that she isn't the biggest fan of vitamins that she prefers a better, more balanced diet.
The product I found was by a company called Sea Tangle. It's called mixed sea vegetables and you can buy it using our link here. They did not pay me and they don't know I am doing this post. The ingredients say it has seaweed papulosa (red and blue), agar-agar, seaweed stems, seaweed fuisforme (hiziki), seastring (vemucosa), gufuweed, kelp, montagne and salt as a preservative. It actually has two recipes on the back of the package and we did one of the recipes altered a little.
