Simple Healthy Thai Style Garlic Broccoli Recipe (บร็อคโคลี่กระเทียม)

One of my favorite recipes to cook is everything "stir-fry". Stir-fry is a quick method to prepare meal. It does not take much of time to prepare and cook. You basically cook everything on medium-high to high heat, and voila the food is done.

Today, I am gladly to share a super fast Garlic Broccoli Asian Style recipe. This recipe is a side dish recipe. If you like super green at Panda Express, you'll thank me for this. This recipe is very simple, all I used is only 5 ingredients and 10 minutes to cook. Let's see what you need for the recipe, and how you make it.

5 Ingredients, Garlic Broccoli Asian Style

First ingredients which you can't miss is crown broccoli, then fresh garlic, canola oil, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Cut broccoli into bite size, I don't use only the florets, but I also use the stem, too. I cut the stem part, smaller and thinner compare to the florets just to make them cook equally at the same time. Then garlic, to be honest, I'm old style cooking sometimes thus I'm not a fan of crush garlic in a bottle. I love to peel and crush my fresh garlic. I know sometimes it could be cumbersome to do all the work, but I love the fact that fresh garlic gives the aroma and boost the taste of the food. Last but not least, you'll season this dish with two simple Asian condiments which are oyster sauce and soy sauce.

**** YOU CAN ONLY SEASON THE DISH WITH SOY SAUCE AND AVOID THE OYSTER SAUCE TO MAKE THIS SIDE DISH A VEGETERAIN DISH. ****

    Let's wok it up

To make this recipe, you'll need a wok (skillet is okay, too) and spatula. Let's start with cutting the broccoli to bite size and crush garlic into tiny pieces. Then, heat the wok on high heat and add canola oil. Once the oil is hot, add crushed garlic. Once the garlic turns to yellow-golden color, add broccoli, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Stir-fry evertyhing together for about 5-7minutes then turn the stove off. Serve the Garlic Broccoli Asian Style side dish with choice of your meat/protein. Like you see here, I baked marinade spicy mango catfish fillet (I baked it at 400F for 15minutes) and ready to eat jasmine rice. Quick, easy, healthy meal, here you go!!
