Grilled Oysters with Thai Seafood Dipping Sauce
Grilled oysters are just about as easy as it gets when it comes to Thai food. You just buy the raw unopened oysters and throw them on the grill.
Nutrition Facts
Oysters are a good source of protein, omega 3 fatty acids and of course zinc. We all had a good laugh knowing that these little guys are an aphrodisiac. That means they might help your sex life. 😉 They are sold fresh or frozen almost anywhere in the world. Wikipedia has a great page with the detailed nutrition information here. Our sauce is made with lower calorie options so you don't have to worry as much.
Sustainability
Oysters are one of the more sustainable seafood choices to go with. It is widely known how to farm them and it can be done without disrupting the environment too much. But.... when in doubt, check it out. That is always my motto. You can check at the Monterey Bay Aquarium's seafood watch app below.
