4 Ingredient Sriracha Salsa Bunless Turkey Burger
Turkey Patties
One ingredient we always keep in our freezer is either ground turkey or turkey patties. We are able to call this a gluton free recipe because all of the ingredients can be done with little to no gluten. I say little to no because there is always a slight chance the ingredient you have has cross-contamination or a slight amount of gluton added for some reason. You always have to double check if you are very sensitive.
From a guy's perspective, Turkey burgers are the best because there is so much protein. Especially if you lift weights and work out regularly. It is hard to keep up with your bodies demands and a big burger really hits the spot. For this recipe we only had small patties so I ate several and they are super delicious so you will want to make plenty.
Turkey patties are available pre-made at Aldi's and other discount super market making this a budget friendly meat. It is amazing how cheap a whole box of patties can be sometimes. You can also make your own if you want a huge one.
We discovered this Sriracha Salsa also at Aldi and decided to try it. We bought the hot variety. It really isn't that spicy at all as far as my taste buds were concerned but really delicious.
To add a bit more kick I also used the Vlasic, Bold and Spicy sandwich pickle slices and it really still didn't make it too spicy at all. It was satisfyingly flavorful but no where near hot in my opinion.
The instructions are simple. Just grill your turkey burger patties however you like them. For time sake we just grilled them on a skillet really fast. Take a head of iceberg Lettuce and pull off two large leaves shaped so that they can fully encapsule your patty. Add a tablespoon or two of sriracha salsa to the patty and top with 3 or 4 pickle slices. Boom! Thats it! Super Easy Deliciousness in 10 minutes. This recipe is meant to be something you can do on the fly and still enjoy a lot of flavor. I hope you enjoy! Adam
