Pad Kra Pow With A Fried Egg Khai Dao - Thai Basil Chicken With A Fried Egg is a typical dish you can find in a Thai diner. You may find it made with a variety of different meats. Ingredients
- 1 LB. chicken breast, finely chopped.
- 2 Cups long beans or green beans finely shopped.
- 1 Cup of basil leaves.
- 5-7 Crushed Thai peppers
- 1 tablespoon of crushed and chopped garlic.
- 2 tablespoon of olive or canola oil
- 1½ tablespoon Seasoning Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
- 1 or 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon oil for fry egg
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat the oil and add the garlic and Thai pepper and stir fry until the garlic turn golden brown.
- Add the chopped chicken and stir fry making sure not to let the chicken clump together.
- Add the green beans and stir fry until they are soft.
- Next, add the basil leaves and all the sauce.
- Stir Fry for a few more minutes.
- On another clean non-stick pan. Heat oil on medium low heat, crack the egg(s) into the pan and cover with a lid and let it cook for few minutes.
- Serve Pad Kra Pow and Khai Dow over brown rice or red ruby rice.
