Copycat Starbucks Sous Vide Egg White and Pepper Bites Using An Instant Pot is one of my favorite new ways to use our Instant Pot. You can make it with less processed ingredients Starbucks has to use for shelf life. You will save money too!

Equipment

  • Instant Pot
  • Trivet
  • Egg Bite Molds
  • Mixer (Optional)
  • Large mixing bowl

Ingredientes

  • 2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3 cups egg whites
  • 1 cup Fat free cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup Thai peppers Small slices
  • ½ cup Green onion Finely sliced

Elaboración paso a paso

  • In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together throughoulywith a wisk, immersion blender or fork.
  • Oil the egg bite mold to prevent stickage.
  • Fill each mold about 80% or less of the way with the egg mixture. They expand.
  • Make sure the pressure cooker pot is in the instant pot and fill the bottom of the pot with 1 and ½ cups water.
  • Position the trivet with handles up and place the egg bite mold or molds with covers in place on the trivet. You can add aluminum foil to the covers for safety, we didn't and it was fine but the webstie for the molds recommends it.
  • Lower the trivet into the pot, secure the lid with pressure valve closed and set to steam for 10 minutes.
  • Release the pressure valve after 10 minutes, we also skipped this step with no ill effects, but again, the website recommends it.
  • Carefully remove and invert onto a plate, being careful not to break up the egg bites. They are a little fragile.
  • Add garnish and serve. :)
