Ingredientes

  • ½ tablespoon Sriracha
  • 32 oz Tofu 2 (16 oz.) packages of extra firm tofu
  • ½ tablespoon Rice Vinegar Whatever vinegar you want really
  • ½ tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon Low sodium soy sauce Or gluten free tamari if you have it

Elaboración paso a paso

  • Wash tofu and dried it with a dry cloth.
  • Cut tofu vertically and then slice it in a half. So the tofu is not too thick.
  • Then cut each tofu into four pieces.
  • Stack paper towels in several layers and lay sliced tofu on the paper towels. Cover the tofu with other layers of paper towels. Place some heavy objects like 5 lbs flour bag, soup cans, or cast iron on top of the paper towels and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare a sauce while waiting for the tofu by mixing the oil, rice vinegar, Sriracha sauce, and Tamari or soy sauce together.
  • Take the objects on top of the tofu out and cut each tofu into four pieces.
  • Mix the tofu with the sauce as thoroughly as you can.
  • Place a parchment paper or foil on a cooking sheet and set the tofu on it.
  • Cook on air-fry or bake mode for 10 minutes, more if it's not crispy on the outside, machines vary so check and adjust.
  • Eat the tofu snack itself or with Thai sweet chili sauce.
