Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Shrimp Large, peeled and deveined

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoon Chili paste Sambal sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 cup coconut oil extra virgin
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • ¼ cup light soy sauce
  • 2 Thai peppers Finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon Thai pepper dry powder
  • 1 cup Coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

Elaboración paso a paso

  • Heat a grill to medium or medium high heat.
  • Mix all the marinade ingredients.
  • Pour half of the marinade over over the shrimp.
  • Grill the shrimp, on a banana leaf if you like, until slightly blackened 3-20 minutes, depending on which type of grill. Brush more marinade as you cook, stirring or flipping to cook evenly.
  • Serve platted, or on a plate with toothpicks as an appetizer, on a salad or just as finger foods.
  • Garnish with Dried Thai Chili Powder and or Coconut Flakes as Needed
