Ellos venden la salsa, pero en esta receta, replico el sabor lo m\u00e1s posible con mi receta. Mi mujer dijo que las alitas de curry tailandesas le sab\u00edan m\u00e1s a curry indio; siendo tailand\u00e9s, me fi\u00e9 de ella y yo mismo pens\u00e9 lo mismo. La madre de uno de mis pacientes paquistan\u00edes, hace tiempo, siempre cocinaba mientras yo trabajaba con su hijo. Los olores eran tan incre\u00edblemente buenos que le pregunt\u00e9 c\u00f3mo pod\u00eda hacerlo. Me dirigi\u00f3 al mercado indio y me mostr\u00f3 la caja de las mezclas de especias Shan. Me mostr\u00f3 que tienen las instrucciones en la parte de atr\u00e1s. Ahora los tengo en nuestra despensa constantemente.<\/p>\n<p>No pod\u00eda situar a qu\u00e9 receta india\/paquistan\u00ed me recordaban las alitas al curry tailand\u00e9s de BWW. Los que recuerdo no se parec\u00edan en nada a ese sabor, as\u00ed que me limit\u00e9 a tirar a la basura. Hice esta receta a continuaci\u00f3n y la salsa antes de a\u00f1adir el aceite estaba casi muerta de sabor. Como he dicho antes, las instrucciones est\u00e1n en la caja. Segu\u00ed las instrucciones de la caja cambiando los chiles verdes por chiles tailandeses. Tambi\u00e9n a\u00f1ad\u00ed un poco de leche de coco, ya que las recetas tailandesas suelen llevarla, y un poco de tabasco verde para acompa\u00f1ar a la lima. La receta de Karahi pide zumo de lim\u00f3n, pero a m\u00ed me gusta m\u00e1s el de lima. Tambi\u00e9n a\u00f1ad\u00ed un poco de tabasco verde porque eso hace que todo sea mejor y va bien con el sabor de la lima.<\/p>\n<h2>Horneando las alitas de pollo<\/h2>\n<p>Horneamos nuestras alitas porque hornear es m\u00e1s saludable que fre\u00edr. Compramos un contenedor de 3 libras de alitas de pollo crudas sin sabor en Aldi por 6 d\u00f3lares y pico. El paquete dice que hay que cocinarlos en el horno hasta que alcancen los 180 grados. Para ello los cocinamos a 450 durante 55 minutos en una bandeja de horno hasta que se secaran un poco y quedaran un poco crujientes.<\/p>\n<h2>C\u00f3mo hacer la salsa<\/h2>\n<p>Para la salsa, basta con seguir las instrucciones de la caja de la mezcla blanca Shan Karahi. Si tienes un mercado indio cerca, querr\u00e1s comprar los otros ingredientes mientras est\u00e1s all\u00ed porque muchos no est\u00e1n disponibles en otras tiendas. La pasta de jengibre, por ejemplo, es dif\u00edcil de encontrar en otros lugares. Los mercados indios suelen tener incluso pimientos tailandeses frescos en la secci\u00f3n de productos. Algunos de los ingredientes m\u00e1s saludables y sustituibles proceden de mercados distintos al indio.
